How I Scored an A+ in Advanced ITT with Only 2 Days of Prep (And a Secret Tool)

Let’s be honest: Advanced ITT classes can be a drag. You spend hours diving into practical intricacies that sometimes miss the “exam-room” basics. Many students walk into the hall nervous, but here’s a secret—the Advanced ITT exam isn’t a test of intelligence; it’s a test of pattern recognition.

I spent most of my prep time on coding projects, leaving only 48 hours for the actual syllabus. I still walked out with an A+ Grade. Here is the exact “Auto-Pilot” strategy I used to finish the exam in record time.

2 Day Strategy for Advanced ITT preparation – I scored A+ Grade

Step 1: Tactical Skim of Chapters without reading every word in detail.
Step 2:The Reverse Guess
Go to the MCQs at the back of the module. Cover the answers. Guess first, then check. If you’re wrong, read the logic and move on. This primes your brain for the “Test App” phase.
Step 3:Use the Test Tool and filteTheory is useless without volume. You need to see every possible variation of a question. I used a dedicated Test Tool with 760 questions to filter and master the database.
Step 4:Mock Test:
A final mock test for around 2 hours and i completed around 615 questions in that 2 hours.

The reason I could prep so fast was the Friendly CSV Quiz tool. It turns a boring PDF into an interactive training ground.

Friendly CSV Quiz (V1 – Recommended)Rock solid. Use this for the Mock Test mode to simulate the real exam environment.

Friendly CSV Quiz (V2 – Beta) – Experimental features. Includes option randomization and a “Learning Bookmark” feature (Note: Test mode is currently unstable).

Features of the App:

  • Quiz vs. Test Mode: Practice at your own pace or simulate the pressure.
  • Bookmarking: Tag the hard Excel shortcuts or SQL queries to revisit them 10 minutes before the exam.
  • Randomization: Ensures you actually know the answer rather than just the “Position” of the text (V2 only).

AQs: Everything You Need to Know

Q: Can I really pass with just 2 days of prep?

A: Passing is easy. Getting an A+ requires the 760-question volume strategy. If you focus on the test app, 48 hours is more than enough.

Q: Is there negative marking?

A: No. Never leave a question blank. If you’ve used the test app, you’ll find most answers look familiar.

Q: What’s the secret to finishing 100 questions in 2 hours?

A: Speed. By practicing 600+ questions the morning of the exam, you’ll be able to answer most questions in under 20 seconds.

Fun Fact: I completed the first round of 100 questions in just around 9 minutes and spent the rest of time boringly. But i did review the questions and answers once again after few minutes and i changed my answer for around 4-5 questions.
