Timing and patience are excruciating, but they are incredibly rewarding.
My game portfolio is a living example of that.
For six years—through Foundation, Inter, and now after Articleship—I have meticulously claimed the free weekly giveaways. I was consistent, even when I didn’t have the hardware to play them.
Today, I have a library of 77 games with an investment of my time every week + amount of just 378 INR over 6 years.
It includes 20+ AAA titles like Death Stranding, Control, and Hogwarts Legacy. The market value of this account is now around ₹50,000–₹60,000.
Today, I finally have the savings to walk out and buy a brand-new PS5(Not from sale of this account, i made separate RD investments over 3 years during Articleship). But last year, I decided on a bigger goal. I’ve decided to save long-term for a computer capable of running local AI equivalent to the latest frontier models.
It will be costly. It will take time. But I know I will get it.
Back in 2021, it felt impossible that I could even own two or three major games after job every month. Today, I have a ₹60,000 library that cost me almost nothing but my time that too before I ever went to job.
