The Web Application
Turning a study tracker into a web app (and fighting with npm build for the first time) 💻🚀
I was going through the Case Studies for SPOM SET A and realized I needed a better way to study. I wanted something like Taxmann’s Cracker or the old-school Oswal Question Bank style—specifically, the ability to tackle questions chapter-wise. 📚
So, I decided to build it myself.
I wrote a few prompts and modified some Python scripts to scrape the case study digest (honestly, the script ran locally and it was wonderful 🐍). Then, I used AI to classify each question in the case study based on the chapter names. 🤖
I was originally just using this tracker for my own reading. Then I thought: Why not create a web app so everyone can use it?

In hindsight, maybe it’s good that I didn’t clear my first attempt. If I hadn’t had that fever, I would have completed FEMA, passed the SET-A, and moved on. I wouldn’t have had the reason or the time to build this app. Funny how things work out.
